Tax Season Identity Theft

The home security blog, a site I check pretty regularly has an interesting article about how to protect yourself from identity theft during tax season.

Many folks do their tax returns over the internet with web-based programs. In these tax returns, we include all the essential information that someone would need to steal out identity. Social security number, address, full name, etc.

This article goes into how you should use a safe web browser, how you should change your account passwords and user names often, and other tips on increasing your personal security.
